Flight Works Alabama Experience

Flight Works Alabama inspires learners of all ages through real-world, hands-on STEAM learning experiences — connecting the community to aerospace, building in-demand skills and growing our region’s manufacturing workforce.

The Gulf Coast is home to one of the largest commercial aerospace manufacturing operations in the world. Experience aerospace firsthand through hands- on exhibits, immersive learning and one-of-a-kind access to the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility.

Your visit begins with an interactive experience unlike any other. Inside Flight Works Alabama’s 15,000-square-foot facility, you’ll discover more than 40 hands-on exhibits designed to explore the history, future, and fundamentals of aviation. Feel the forces that affect an aircraft in flight, discover the science behind flight and aircraft design, and experience the excitement of aviation through a flight simulator, virtual reality, and other engaging activities. We will then transport you to the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for a guided tour. Flight Works Alabama is the only place in the United States where the public can take a guided tour of an Airbus Final Assembly Line!

Public Tours
Whether you're an aviation enthusiast or looking for an inspiring local outing, you can purchase individual tickets to join fellow community members for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes aerospace adventure. Your experience includes full access to our state-of-the-art Interactive Aerospace Exhibit followed by a guided tour of the A320 assembly line inside the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students (ages 10–18).
