What is FlightPath9 Mississippi?

FlightPath9 Mississippi (FP9MS) is a Flight Works Alabama (FWA) pre-employment training program designed to prepare individuals for a position at Airbus Helicopters Facility in Columbus, MS. Through FWA and East Mississippi Community College, students will earn a Short Certificate in Aviation Manufacturing Technology.

In addition, students will earn multiple industry-recognized certificates in the following categories: Precision Measuring Instruments, Tools@Height, Mechanical and Electronic Torque, Multimeter, Precision Electrical Termination, and Structural Sheetmetal Assembly.

If you are interested in becoming an Airbus apprentice, then YOU SHOULD APPLY!

The FP9 Early Career program is for individuals who are early in their careers and have an interest in beginning a new career in the aviation industry. These classes are offered over a period of ten weeks.

Applications are not open at this time.

Those who successfully complete the 10-week FP9 program are eligible to become a full-time apprentice with Airbus Helicopters in Columbus, Mississippi. All candidates for employment with Airbus must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
