Rosetta Mission
Rosetta Mission
Unearth the science behind the European Space Agency’s Rosetta Mission — the first probe to visit a comet and perform a soft landing.
Learn details of the Rosetta spacecraft’s 12-year journey that included fly-bys of the Earth, Mars, and two asteroids, before spending 17 months in orbit around comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
A model of the Rosetta spacecraft is suspended from the Discovery Space ceiling, with its lander, Philae, on a simulated comet surface.
